19 Haziran 1957 tarihinde doğan Jean Rabe, fantezi ve bilim-kurgu yazarlığı yapmaktadır. Aynı zamanda editördür. Ejderha Mızrağı, Unutulmuş Diyarlar ve SavaşTeknolojisi için kitaplar yazdı ve başka çalışmalara imza attı.
TSR, Inc ile çalışmaya devam ederken RPGA yöneticisi oldu. Dergilere yazılar yazdı, D&D ve Gamma World üzerine romanlar yazdı ve oyunlar hazırladı.
Kariyeri boyunca sayısız kısa öykü ve Ejderha Mızrağı, Unutulmuş Diyarlar ve Yıldız Savaşları gibi evrenlere kitaplar vermiştir.
