Yeraltı edebiyatının ustası ve rahatsız edici her şeyin ürkünç cazibesine sahip Chuck Palahniuk adaylar arasındaydı mesela. Romanda Üstün Başarı türünde, son kitabı Beautiful You ile adından söz ettirmişti. Kazanamadı, ama olsun. Biz Ayrıntı Yayınları’nın bu kitabı da dilimize kazandıracağına güveniyor, kendimizi bununla teselli ediyoruz.
Korku denince akla Stephen King gelir, ama oğlunu da yabana atmamak gerek. Joe Hill, çizgi roman dünyasına bomba gibi düşen Locke & Key Vol.6 ile Grafik Romanda Üstün Başarı dalında aday olmuş. Eh, o da bitişi göremeyenlerden. Ancak Locke & Key nedir diyenler için Daily Planet’ın son sayısında mini bir tanıtımı ve incelemesi mevcut. Belki göz atmak istersiniz.
Senaryoda Üstün Başarı dalına baktığımızda bir yıldızlar geçidi görüyoruz. The Walking Dead, Doctor Who, Penny Dreadful ve American Horror Story: Coven birer bölümleriyle adaylar arasındaydı (Hangi bölümleri olduğu listede yer alıyor). Kazanansa kült korku filmleri arasına girmeye aday The Babadook.
